Dr Dieng is a medical doctor and co-founder of the AGORA Association. Dr Dieng conducts free consultations at the AGORA Association for pregnant women and children under five. He participates in the smooth running of all activities of the association and ensures the harmonious integration of the actions of the AGORA FAssociation. He reports on activities, successes and challenges to the Board of Directors, and coordinate all volunteers. Dr. Dieng is also responsible for establishing collaborations with health professionals for the good conduct of the association's activities.
Awa is Project Coordinator. Awa worked for several years as nurses and midwives trainer, at the Saint-Louis regional school. Awa ensures the design, monitoring and execution of the public health projects of the AGORA Association. She also accompanies the teams on the ground to improve the quality of the programs and to support them in their relationship with the donors.
Idrissa is a community leader with extensive experience in introducing new projects into a community. Idrissa speaks several local languages and has extensive knowledge of the rural areas of Senegal. Idrissa supports all projects of the Agora Association, prepares and proposes for each project the strategies and plan for adequate introduction in a specific community.
Dr Djiby Barry
Dr. Barry is a dental surgeon with years of experience in oral health in pediatric settings. Dr. Barry is in charge of the Association projects related to oral health and ensures the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of oral anomalies. He also has a great interest in access to care in rural areas and often organize mobile units for free consultations. Under the coordination of Dr. Barry, the Association is in the process of developing an oral health education program in 2017. Dr. Barry is also responsible for establishing collaborations with health professionals for the proper conduct of the association's activities.
Dr Venique J. Junot
Dr Junot is a medical doctor specialized in obstetrics and gynecology and a founding member of the AGORA association. Dr Junot conducts free consultations at the AGORA association for women. He participates in the daily running of all the activities of the association and ensures the harmonious integration of the actions of the association. He reports on activities, successes and difficulties to the members of the Board and volunteers. Dr Junot is also responsible for establishing collaborations with health professionals for the good conduct of the activities of the association.
Khady isa project manager in the AGORA Association. Khady supports project coordinators in the design and implementation of the projects. As a quality and management of activities, which improve the quality and impact of the actions of the AGORA Association.
Babacar Big Ele
Babacar is a computer scientist responsible for setting up databases for the various projects of the AGORA Association. Babacar also ensures the design of all health promotion campaign materials and materials used for educational programs.
Madelaine is a school teacher. Her role is to support project teams in the design of training and education materials. It also supports the Association for the implementation of the action plan, the elaboration of awareness campaigns and manages the communication department.
Dr Nicole Chimoun
A medical doctor and member of the AGORA association and project coordinator. Dr Nicole Chimoun is involve in education sessions for mothers on the symptomatology of child malnutrition. She participates in screening sessions for malnourished children in the community and facilitates discussion workshops with women on maternal and child health. Dr Chimoun is also responsible for establishing collaborations with health professionals for the proper conduct of the activities of the association.
Alioune is an assistant pharmacist with great experience in community health. Alioune runs the local phamarcy in Leona Eaux-claires Suburb. He provides daily support to the project coordinators at AGORA in the implementation monitoring and evaluation activities of projects.
Ndieme is a community health worker "Bajenu Gox" with over 8 years experience. Her role is to ensure the medical follow-up of women and children under the age of five by promoting care services (family planning, prenatal consultations, nursing care, postnatal consultations, immunization sessions, etc.). She has great experience for the promotion of good health practice at the community level.
Souleymane is a project assistant at the AGORA Association. He participates in all aspects of the projects put in place and supports the project coordinators for the smooth running of the projects' agenda.
